So here's the thing...... I've been hanging out here fairly often, and trying to post and fit in, but I I get the feeling that I'm not really wanted. Some folks are as friendly as they ever were, and I love Y'all for that. But some folks here are really standoffish, no matter how I try to fit in. I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I've even messaged a few folks that I have been friendly with, and I haven't received any reply. My feelings are hurt, and I don't understand.
I'm going to take an extended hiatus for a while. Y'all take care of yourselves. Hi Sunny No way!!! Always happy to see you on the Board. You are interesting, funny, sincere and full of warmth. If I am one of those 'standoffish' my sincere apologies. It wasn't intentional.
Sometimes, I am just not sure what to say to whom. But you are right, its a 2 way street to have a conversation.

Hello, Playground. I'm doing well and I've been working outdoors a lot. Cut my neighbor's grass yesterday after cutting mine. I will try to borrow my sister's laptop soon so I can have better fluidity on here and respond adequately to posts. I have tried to sign on once a week so that I don't miss too much, just hate typing on the tiny Kindle, LOL.
@catinabag No offense taken. Look forward to your letter. I know this virus has thrown a kink into all our lives. Glad you guys are safe.

Thanks for the shoutout on SKMB. I had bad car wreck but was rescued by a nurse who was built like a heifer. She nursed me back to health with a lotta good drugs. She was real nice and bought me a typewriter to write my stories. She had a pet pig! Everything was going great until she introduced me to her axe. Glad to be here again...or anywhere!

Don't think you did anything wrong. Those folks you messaged maybe had not been back on the Board since joining? I'm sorry your feelings were hurt.
Have not seen you here since your birthday thread was posted, so I hope some day you decide to come back, as you are very welcome and always will be
