Sure have been missing Wayoftheredpanda a lot lately too.💔 Hey Panda bear, if you're reading as guest, you need to hurry up and come on back in here, kiddo. Hope you had a great Christmas, (did you score more Legos and Video games?) and a very Happy New Year.
Missing our Swedish Indiana Jones @kurben too. Hope you had a great Christmas and your New Year is very happy too.
Y'all need to come on home.

I've been managing one family crisis after another for months. Fourth quarter of 2021 was full of trouble. One sister fell off a hay wagon and broke her pelvis. She runs a horse and sheep farm. It's all too much for her at her age, but she loves the animals and doesn't want to downsize. The other sister was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. She is unable to care for herself. Her daughter took her in for 4 weeks and kicked her out. My nephew moved her from Florida back to New Hampshire where I found a memory care center. She has finally been moved in. The trick now is to make sure the daughter pays the monthly rent on the memory care center. I suspect she has been siphoning money off her mother's back account for the last 3 years.
Do not pity me or pray for me. That is all horse manure and is a waste of time.
Perhaps Mr King will publish a new story in 2022. That would be wonderful. Reading is my escape from real life.
Otherwise, it is the daily cycle of working, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping and taking out the trash. Long days and pleasant nights.
Stay safe, warm and healthy.

Stay safe, warm and healthy. Yesterday I visited the sister with Parkinson's disease. I brought the other sister and her husband with me. It was not a good visit. Her mind is lost. She asked us to take her home. She says she sleeps in the cellar. She said the Bosses are pushing people around. She was mad at me that I wouldn't take her home with me. She said a nurse threatened to 'up her medication by 10%'. She said her mother was watching her. None of those things are true. Except that I can't take her home with me. I am not a nurse and I don't pretend to be. I think that she is suffering from delusions and hallucinations. dementia. I was glad that I didn't go alone this time. It is hard to deal with.

Thought I better let you know where I`m at. Have joined another forum, that is closer to home and have a interest in, no invite needed. Have also been trying to change the law in Australia, which is slow and difficult. There were two politicians walking along, when one turns around and stands on a snail and squashes it, the other says why did you do that for and he/she replies, the bastard has been following me around all day, and we elected them. Like a lot of people here, Stephen King is very special to me, and it has been a joy to be part of this community.
Cheers
