This morning I have an appointment to get my income taxes done - hope she shows up to work this time!
I was supposed to have them done in December 2018 but she called in sick so when I got there I was surprised. Maybe today I will be luckier!
Keeping my fingers crossed that I get a good refund

Mmmmm...margaritas! Wonder if Sundrop remembered this year? 
The best margarita I ever had was with Patron and Grand Marnier instead of triple sec (and extra fresh limes of course!). 
That is also the best margarita i've ever had.......great minds think alike! ♥Good luck with the new job, Sunny. Has the new place questioned what the stack of pointy sticks are for?  |

Oh yes, I remembered! And since Friday was also walk out day at work, we all went out to celebrate with margaritas after we moved into the new place

Hurray! Congratulations - that must have been a relief - glad you had a really good celebration - Good luck with the new place - I'm sure you will do well
I tried to find a cute picture using "pointy sticks" but not much came up - you could always bundle them up and disguise the pointy ends with flowers!
Doubt you will have much need for pointy sticks, unless diobolic shows up for a trim!

Thanks, Neesy! When I was moving in at the new place, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Even their customers who had never met me were telling me they were glad I was there. I slept better on Friday night than I have in months!

<insert primal scream> I am so frustrated and kicking myself. I have been having itchies for awhile. Sometimes wake up having scratched skin off my shins. Tonight I’m home alone. Been looking forward to some chicken. Spent an hour cooking. Smelled delicious. Put it on my plate, went to get the veggies and went back to look at chicken. How odd! Looks like sesame seeds....wonder what they are. They are sesame seeds. Right there in the teeny tiny print on the label. I used this lemon herb. We used to use lemon pepper, but it’s discontinued and they now make lemon herb. It’s not as good, but it’s all we could get. And it has sesame seeds in it.  Thank goodness it is whole seeds or I would have eaten it. And I’m home alone and snowed in. Also thank goodness I put so much on it. My life sucks. |

Hi Tet! Here it is, Friday again! Where are these weeks going? How is it March already? Although I’m glad spring is (in theory) coming soon. I’m out and about stocking up on craft supplies and junk food because we are supposed to get some snow tomorrow. Anywhere from 0” to a foot.   Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! |

We were supposed to get snow yesterday, but got none. We got rain instead.

We had a major dump of snow earlier this week. It started about 6 in the morning, and was non-stop until at least 8 at night. I had decided to take a walk early, before it got bad. I couldn’t see 2 blocks ahead, so I worried that if I crossed the street I may not be able to safely cross back.
Then it got warm and melty. Yesterday I went to shovel snow away from the back of my house so we don’t get flooded. However, I could only remove the top layer. There is about a solid foot of ice under.
