neesy I do love grits. I didn't get around to them way back at lunch, but I did make some for dinner. Right now I am liking them with shredded smoke gouda cheese and some diced jalapenos - and butter, salt and pepper always. I've never tried to make them from corn meal - that sounds complicated. I just buy a box - right near the oatmeal in the grocery. @administrator I'm glad you enjoyed that like I did - which are you? I think I was both - I'd be there staring guy for a little while and then the munchies would set in. And the piggies! You can buy grits for sale in a box? I thought you had to make that stuff from scratch ( )
I did go out and buy two packages of corn meal (the yellow kind). I could have bought the white but I think my Mom always had yellow on hand. Don't remember her ever making corn meal muffins.
I love different types of grains/seeds (oatmeal bread, sesame bread and so on).
Sorry I haven't been around as much but I was missing you guys - that's why I'm on here now!
Take care

Hello Tet - hope you had a great Sunday and if you're a working stiff, I hope you've got tomorrow off. We do. Our former and new and newly former bishop gave us secular holidays off. That was a new thing - we get the usual holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving - but getting MLK day, Veteran's Day, etc. was new. It's an order that stuck and I'm glad. We also get Holy Days off. So yay! neesy I miss everyone too! I talk to y'all in my head all the time. Did you make your hair apt? I got mine done. It's a little brassy. If it doesn't settle down, I'm going back Saturday for a tone down - whatever the heck that is. I love sitting in the salon chair, so I'm up for it. It was sunny here today. Cold (25F), but sunshine everywhere. The news says storms are coming. Bah! Enough already. That's hard for me to say because I love rain, but it's out of control. My mud stomping dogs make a huge stinky mess in the house because the back yard is a swamp. I'm ready for summer! If it ever stops raining, I'm going to paint the outdoor furniture peacock blue. We didn't do much this weekend. I cleaned house. Made some stew today. DID NOT WORK. Not on Saturday, not on Sunday. Look at me living a normal life. 2019. That only took me 15 years to sort out. Blessed be and peace be with you! I hope to see y'all in the morn.

(((all in need or not))) Hi Spidey,
Here's a pic I found while searching the interwebbies: (apparently it's a recent photo, posted by Dave Barry)

Speaking of Dave Barry (who I find very funny) I wonder if I could share a little bit of something he wrote [it would not be plagiarism as long as I give the credit to him]:
"Responding to alleged Russian infiltration of Facebook and massive breaches of user data, the Senate Committee of Aging Senators Who Cannot Operate Their Own Cell Phones Without the Assistance of Minions holds a hearing intended to answer such probing questions as:
▪ What IS Facebook, anyway?
▪ Where does it go when you turn off the computer?
▪ Is there a print version?
▪ Is Facebook the one with the video of a cat riding on a dog?
▪ How the heck do you get a cat to do that, anyway?
Patiently attempting to answer these questions is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who wears a suit and tie and does a solid job of impersonating a regular human, except for not blinking and at one point having a tentacle emerge briefly from his left ear."
This is from his year end review that was printed in the Miami Herald

My nurse was here today. She is going to get another blood test done in a few weeks, and then see if I need another blood transfusion. I am still having difficulty breathing, and she thinks it is the oxygen in my blood. She thinks I don't have enough of it.
