I don’t know where you are, but I don’t ever want to go there. 😱 LOL. The Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

There's a soccer player over here called Christian Pulisic, who is from Pennsylvania. He talked about the Pocono Mountains as being amazing. He's called Captain America over here.

There was a house fire in my neighborhood, a couple blocks from me this morning. The house is totally destroyed from what I could see (I couldn't get too close because of the fire equipment). I hope the people got out. This had to have happened around 5 or 6 am. That's a bad time for a fire when people could be sleeping. There's nothing on the news yet about it so I don't know about the people inside.
Horrible to hear, prayers to the family and friends. I just saw a report that said there were two people that lived at the house, a husband and wife. The husband is in the hospital in critical condition and the wife is out of the hospital. The fire started in the garage and the house was consumed pretty fast. It happened at 6am and it sounded from the article I read that the couple were in their bedroom and shower getting ready for work so I'm not sure what caused the fire to start in the garage at that time of the morning.

Lol, I thought you have winter all year round. 😄😉 Not in Canada, that's here you're thinking of. Canada's like Florida compared to here. No it's not. 🤣

Soccer is gaining popularity here but it has a long way to go. I couldn't tell you the name of one soccer star here. He's from Hershey, PA, home to Hershey Chocolate, Hershey Park, and Hersheypark Stadium. That's about a 1.5 hour drive to the Poconos. From reading about him it looks like the family was very much sports active. There's a lot to do outdoorwise in the Poconos if you like the outdoors and outdoor sports... and black bears.

They ARE highly unpredictable and dangerous...and notorious for becoming bad tempered at any moment. Here is a sweet thing I found years ago, I love this story🙂❤.....

This is one of my favorite U2 Songs.
They performed this at the original Live Aid in the 1980's and actually did a version of Ruby Tuesday along with it.
Sadly that was never released (as far as I know). But enjoy.

My mistake.
I was driving to work and this came on.
It Was 'Bad' that they performed.
Towards the end Bono riffs Ruby Tuesday (Rolling Stones) and Walk on the Wild Side (Lou Reed).
Just an FYI for the music lovers, Bad and Sort of a Homecoming were released on the same album.

He's a really nice guy as well, he even plays country music before games. His parents are great as well, really great people. He plays for Chelsea, that was the team my club, Arsenal, played in the FA Cup final last year, as much as I was glad that we won it, I did feel sorry for him. He also played in Germany for a while as well.

LOL. Just used it to show how I'm walking today. We ended up having 29 inches of snow, and now we may get hit again with snow and blizzard conditions on Fri/Sat, followed by bitter blasts of Arctic air. So I get to do it all over again in the punishing cold. I don’t know where you are, but I don’t ever want to go there. 😱The whole East coast of the US was hit hard
Here's something from WGRZ:
"A record-setting snowstorm wasn't even in the rearview mirror for the Northeast yet on Tuesday, but AccuWeather meteorologists were already busy analyzing an upcoming weather pattern that could yield yet another major snowstorm. Forecasters say a storm could form in the same area as the last, with the potential for it to chug right up the East Coast and dump heavy snow on areas that were just pummeled."
Yikes! feuerwerk_157

I think you're just joshing us - when I was over there I WAS on the Isle of Arran so I guess that is more temperate than most of Scotland
I hear it can get pretty bad up in the Highlands however (on the mainland)
