Happy Memorial Day Hey neesy , feeling better today ? ♥ Much Love and green Lights everyone ♥ Hi there - wasn't sure if I should try to log in but then I saw you're leaving this one open for now. It's not a holiday up here in Canada but when you are semi-retired, almost every day is a holiday!
Woke up with a bit of a headache but I'm taking two Tylenol and having my decaf coffee so should feel much better soon (thanks for asking!)
I tried to do the copy and paste thing like I can do on SKMB to post an image but it's not working.
Could you explain [in simple terms] the best way to post an image {like you did above with the elephant}? Thanks!
When I click on the icon for insert image it wants a URL. Even if I put one in, it still does not work. (Probably just me - I've tried to do a link and that worked but only once)

There are some Icons above (there where the Smilie Icon is) Use the Insret Image Icon. I added a Screenshot Paste the Url from the Image into the line at top

Hello Monday and for all in USA-- may you celebrate Memorial Day.
Feel better Neesy. Joe, you doing OK with the rains? Thank you for keeping this MB open, Frank. It's a holiday, so SKMB would have been closed. May all be well. (((all in need or not)))

It's a holiday, so SKMB would have been closed. May all be well. (((all in need or not))) It's been a glorious few hours with no rain (still no sun). I'm not sure how long it will last but I'll take what I can get. I've been through some very large rains before (we had 18" in one day once and I've been through a few 12" in one day rains) but I can't remember going over 2 weeks barely seeing the sun. I think we are around 14-15" of rain for the past week but the constant cloud cover is depressing as hell. How does anyone survive in those places where the sun doesn't shine for weeks and months?
I think it could have been much worse yesterday. There was a lot of really heavy rain off shore that just missed us. We still had plenty of heavy rain yesterday but a lot more missed us.

Hi there, I hope I've got this right (I might be typing inside the quote) Every time I push "enter" it seems to take me up one level. Anyway - thought I would be clever and insert an image appropriate to the topic (how much rain you have and how wet it is down there)
- just a thought - do not search in Google for the words "dripping wet" as unfortunately the images that come up have nothing to do with rain
Yay! I think I finally figured it out!

We could need some Rain here. Some Towns have Water shortage and it's frobidden to wash your Car, fill your Pool and watering the Garden in the Evening hours.
The Farmers are very concerned, because the Weather threatens to destroy the crops.
How do you spend a typical Memorial Day ?
Is it a Holiday with Events like a Parade or so, or is it a Day to spend with the Family at Home and have a good Time ?

We were a long way from that storm and got tons of rain from it. It was really weird, on the East Coast, our area was really getting hammered and it wasn't too bad South of us. I heard on the news that some areas got 20" of rain in the past week. I think I was close to one of those areas.
