Congratulations to Eintracht Frankfurt on winning the Europa League. Yeah, that was nice. What a crazy competition it has been for Frankfurt. Yep, congratulations! Rangers gave them way more of a game than I thought they would; that chance at the end of extra time for them should have sealed it. Alas, that's the nature of the sport: don't take your chances and you'll be punished.
I wish they would bring back Golden Goal. I don't know what the statistics are, but it seems like the vast majority of games that go to extra time end up going to penalties. No doubt the same thing happened with the Golden Goal rule, but it would encourage attacking football, so there's that. I'm not the biggest fan of penalties if I'm being honest, but I really don't know what else you could do over it.

This was Kevin Trapp's first Eintracht trophy. I always thought he was a part of that team that beat Bayern for the German Cup, but evidently not.

Well, theres always 2026...lets hope youe can get a good run in the nations league. Think, its been a quarter of a CENTURY since we appeared at a World Cup. Freaking Canada's going to the World Cup and we're not, I can't fathom that.
To be fair, though, FIFA has made things really, really difficult for smaller European nations to qualify for the World Cup, especially when compared to places like North America and Oceania, where its significantly easier to qualify. I get that if they made it a fair playing field, then certain continents wouldn't have any, in some cases, representation at the World Cup, but there has to be an alternative to what they're doing now. For example, the top two of each qualification group (in Europe) should automatically qualify, no more of this play-off business!

Hungary 1 - 0 England
Excellent. Hungary aren't half bad, you know. They've got a good manager that knows how to use his players.

Frank, I'd take Joachim Low as the new Scotland manager! He probably won't be able to get us to a World Cup (we are pretty bad after all), but he'd be able to have us playing some good football, unlike the dirge we're playing with our current anti-football manager. Our current manager used to be Mourinho's assistant manager when he was at Chelsea, so that gives you an idea as to what his footballing philosophy is like (i.e. defend at all cost). Heck, I'd take Low as the Arsenal manager. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten a new team yet.

Last thing i've heard about Low was that he becomes the manager of Fenerbahce Istanbul in the summer.

Oh, man, the football's as bad as you would expect! All we do is defend, but there's one major problem: we don't have any good defenders. Southgate's very much in the same style; his England team play some of the worst, most boring football ever. And I've not got anything against defensive football, like Italian football, for example. The difference is that they make it entertaining! Really? Istanbul? There's also been reports that he's in the running for the PSG job, but I'm not so sure.

Can´t believe our "Chancentod" Werner scored twice. England's worst defeat since they played us all the way back in 1928! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Southgate got utterly out-thought by Marco Rossi. I'm not kidding, If I was a big club or country, I'd go for Rossi; he's worked wonders with that Hungary squad.
Ha! Yeah, that was a shock. I thought it was going to become another chapter in the Hansi Flick book of thrashings, but somehow Italy managed to come back a bit near the end.
