All gone now. We finished up the leftovers on Sunday night. 🙂 That's okay - thanks anyway - I ended up making lasagna last night; mine turned out a bit runny as I used sundried tomato pasta sauce plus a can of diced tomatoes. Maybe I should have drained those tomatoes.
Overall though we enjoyed it. Andy had something different since he doesn't like any pasta (other than that weird canned spaghetti made by Heinz) s015

I thought I might revive an old thread that hasn't been posted in since January of 2021?
Last night we had Cheesy Meatball Bake which Josh and I enjoyed but Andy thought it was too "herby" - I used Sweet Italian Sausage mixed with ground chuck; I guess it was the Italian bread crumbs that took it over the top.
Not sure what we will have tonight - I'm kind of in the mood for chicken

Just had some bacon which I haven't had in a long while
Followed that up with a Juicy Jumbo wiener
I'm sure that I'll swell up a bit after all that sodium!
Wish I knew what to make for supper but maybe I will get some inspiration after going shopping today

Do you know of anything I could use as a substitute for okra?
My chicken and sausage gumbo recipe actually calls for okra and I have only had that once and I think it was in Tennessee

Over this past weekend I made a chicken and sweet potato stew recipe I found online...I love my slow cooker, it's my best friend in this weather!
Finally got tired of eating my own cooking and froze the remainder, though. It'll be good some cold evening!
