I found a like new, first edition copy of Bazaar of Dreams on the local buy and sell website. Have bought books from this fellow before and the books are always like new. Hoping he will sell me his first edition Pet Sematary. I keep asking.

Last week I went to the Salvation Army Thrift store and was very surprised to see 8 SK hardcovers. They were half price that day, so were $2.49 each. Misery/The Dark Half/Carrie/ The Green Mile/The Shining/The Dead Zone/Christine and Nightmares and Dreamscapes. I opened a few of them -- probably read once and in excellent condition. All but 1 were first editions. And I still can't believe what I did after that. Turned around and walked away without buying them. I did buy a H/C on Herbs and Spices. like new and inside cover had a price of $45.99 Cdn. (I paid $2.49).

Nope, my mistake, Carrie was not a first edition.
No way of getting back to that thrift store unless I go with one of my friends next week. Too far, buses do not have routes out there (Hwy 33). Funny thing is when I saw all those books I thought of you. Did consider buying them, but just no place to put any more books. What little space left I will use for new SK books I don't have yet.

Picked this up in a second hand book shop, Harry Secombe probably won't mean much to most people but I'm a huge Goon show fan so it's kinda special to me, didn't realise it was a signed copy until I got home,
