Has anyone watched Everything Everywhere All At Once ?
I didn't know it's a SciFi Movie until today. Googled it, and it sounds interesting.
Not at the moment, but if Michell Yeoh is in it, then there's a very good chance it will be great.

The Mandalorian 3/8
After the previous episode, it was pretty obvious that the season finale would be action-packed, but did anyone expect it to be this action-packed?
The ending felt like a Series Finale. There's been reports of there being another season, as well as a movie! It does seem like a movie is happening, with Jon Favreau directing (and I assume writing?). I think a movie would be pretty cool, but knowing recent Lucasfilm, it will likely be a preview for the next season of the show on Disney Plus (basically a gimmick to get people to subscribe to Disney Plus).

Reacher 2/8
Great finale for an amazing season. Fantastic TV show and adaptation of the Jack Reacher books. I do like this show, but for some reason this season, to me, wasn't as good as the first. I do hope they continue with it though. And I'm sure they will with how well it had been doing. I liked that we got to know Reachers old team. All the supporting actors are excellent.

Loudermilk (Netflix)
Comedy about an addiction counselor's life. He is a recovering addict and leads a group meeting at a local church. Loudermilk is a former music critic and extremely blunt about his opinions to the point of making everyone he interacts with mad.
I was reading the wiki page about this show and it ran 3 seasons on an at&t streaming channel. The streaming channel went under and that was the end of the show.

The Last of Us 1/5
First: I haven't played the Game, so i don't know, if this Series is a good Video Game adaptation.
The Series is awesome. My first thought was: Okay, yet another "We have to protect a Person, that carries the remedy, for (another) deadly disease. Sounds like a Walking Dead clone, huh ?
But this Series is much more than that. It's amazing. It's not about cheap Jump Scares.
Loving the characters. Excellent casting and writing. Funny, dramatic and slightly gruesome but overall awesome.

I'm not innocent or a prude by any stretch but jeez...everybody in the cast is throwing F-bombs every which way, including the kid the story centers around. That is soooo not necessary in my eyes.

The Last of Us 1/9
Episode 8 was disturbing, and had me at the edge of my seat.
The End, was Heartbreaking. "I got you baby girl"
Episode 9, the finale, was great, too.

I’ve been watching CSI :NY off and on. Robert Joy is an all time favorite character actor. He is PERFECT as the M.E. “Sid”. 😊 He is a character I’d love to see more of, he’s OFTEN really creepy and weird. His jokes are dark and hilarious…..especially when he’s not really joking. 😂

Into The Night
When radiation from the sun causes a global disaster on Earth, survivors on an overnight flight from Brussels race from city to city trying to stay ahead of the sun's rays by remaining in the cover of night.
I liked the first episode or two and then it just seemed to get boring and dumber after that. I gave up on it a few episodes in.

Same here, i gave up after episode two.
The premise is interesting, the execution awful.

We've been bingeing Resident Alien, and I think Alan Tudyk is wonderful as the Alien. He reminds me of Robin Williams with his ability to flip into layers of character and use his voice for full comedic effect. Three seasons, 2 on Netflix and 1 on SyFy channel. It's a lot of fun.
We finished The Gentlemen mini series recently. It's a Guy Ritchie production. Lots of action, gore, crazy stuff going on.
An wealthy aristocrat inherits property and an illegal pot grower deeply ensconced on the property. Crime bosses, "travelers", murder, drugs... you name it. Loaded content.

I watched the 2 seasons of Resident Alien on Netflix (I think there is another season that hasn't made it to netflix yet) and enjoyed it. I think it is very funny and it's humor can even get a bit of dark at times. I wasn't familiar with Alan Tudyk before this and I looked him up on IMDB and found a lot of credits. He's done a lot of voices for various animation. He's been in a few movies I've seen but I don't remember him because they were not main roles. I'm going to have to go back and watch a couple of those and look for him.

Right now I'm watching the Donald Sutherland 1978 version of The Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
I actually meant to grab the 1993 version with Meg Tilly, where she delivers one of the best lines (IMO) in a scifi movie.

It’s about time for another remake. I’d like to see all 3 films again. The original with Kevin McCarthy has its merit too. A lot of people dismiss it and forget about it, I think.
