The trees are covered in frost. It's a perfect scene for Christmas.

My oldest daughter and her family came to visit Christmas Eve. She relayed a story from her town that was unfolding. My daughter helped start a tradition a few years back where she lives in which people and businesses purchase a Christmas tree which is placed in the town's parks and are decorated and dedicated to the memories of loved ones. The tree tradition started with 75 trees in one park and this year has 150 trees in two parks. She received a tearful call last Friday from a family who went to visit the tree that day which was dedicated to the memory of their child of 7 months who had perished in a home fire in 2015. Their tree had been stolen out of the park (my daughter subsequently found out someone had tried stealing another tree the prior evening, but was seen by a resident of the town who chased the crooks and got the tree back. Apparently they came back later that night and stole the little girl’s tree). My daughter told the family not to worry that the town would replace the tree right away. The family was appreciative but said they didn’t have the funds to redecorate it. She said not to worry about that, and it would be taken care of. She then posted on the town’s facebook page that evening of what had happened and asked if people had any extra ornaments to please come and add one to the little girl's replacement tree. I guess by noon the next day the facebook post had been viewed over 33,000 times, and people were continually coming to add ornaments to the little girl’s tree. My daughter then was approached and spent Saturday afternoon talking to reporters from TV stations and newspapers about what had happened. On Christmas eve she said that before she left to come to my house there were so many ornaments on the little girl's tree that there was almost no space left on it for any more. wnep.com/2019/12/21/community-gathers-to-replace-memory-tree/

Your daughter and the townspeople truly are an example of how things should be, goodness and civility and respect for their fellows. If only there were more like her Dio the world would be a better place.
