Kirk Douglas, the son of a ragman who channeled a deep, personal anger through a chiseled jaw and steely blue eyes to forge one of the most indelible and indefatigable careers in Hollywood history, died Wednesday. He was 103.
“It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103,” son Michael Douglas wrote on his Instagram account. “To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the Golden Age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to.”

R.I.P. Mary Higgins-Clark and Mr. Douglas. Mary Higgins-Clark was one of my favourite authors. Am I right in thinking that 1 or maybe 2 of her daughters took over writing books of the same genre? May she rest in peace. Her books brought many hours of pleasant reading to many people.
Kirk Douglas may you rest peacefully. A fine actor who left an amazing legacy.

I just want to say R.I.P or R.I.H to my dad because he die in 2017 of a Heart Attack an not a day go by where i don't miss him very much...we were really close an always did activities because i was the only one of his kids that still want to hang out with him when i was a grown up still.

Oh no, no. She was so strong and bounced back many, many times. I really thought she would again. My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers for her family. She will always be an eternal member of the SKMB and a beloved part of this family.
R.I.P. Ms. Mary/Pegasus. You will forever have a place in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
