We made do with Jamie Sheridan in the 90’s. He did very well, but he’s too unrefined for my taste. Matthew had an ease about him and none of the ‘too rough around the edges’.
Alexander Skaarsgard is excellent. I’d like to see his take on the character. What is that Stand series on? Apple?…Amazon?….maybe I can catch the first episode for free today. (a bit tired today, and going to goof off. Maybe have a couple of stout drinks before Pay Day dinner tonight.😊)
Who do you think would make a good Eddie? Or Susannah, Edders? 😊 Unrefined, Wolf? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Poor Jamie.
But seriously, Wolf, don't bother with that The Stand show, Frank'll tell ya, its seriously bad.
Pay day dinner! Always the best. Nah, I gotta see it. I always see for myself, and I too am notorious for liking things that others do not.😊
….I was thinking more about Walter….hmmm…he’s too long in the tooth now….but Brad Dourif.😊
(I always envisioned him as Walter while reading “The Eyes of the Dragon”.)
Yap! The kids want to order in tonight. Got a GREAT new fish place in town. We all love fish and seafood🙂

I thought of Angela Bassett as Susannah/Detta/Odetta, but at this point she may be too old to play Susannah. Yes! She is great favorite! She was one of John’s and my picks years ago…for the movie, when it finally got made.😊
…..what a gunslinger she would be!😊

I really have no idea for Eddie or Susannah to be honest, Wolf ... Frank's suggestions are pretty good.

That’s why I’m liking Ashley Romans right now. I think she would be able to play all 3 of the personalities quite winningly…and would make a fine gunslinger.😊

She was good in that, and I think she’s great as the agent/spook in “Y the last man on earth”. (Not a great series at all, but it has its moments and characters.)

Walton Goggins as Man in Black ? Oh yeah!! Goggins would be really good! And a realistic pick to hope for. He’s no stranger to tv series, that’s for sure. He was great as Boyd Crowder in FX’s “Justified” . Lol, and Venus in FX’s “S.O.A. 😄 I think he’d do really great job playing The Man in Black. 😊

Stephen Lang would be so great as Stephen or Roland! (the older Roland) But also, what a Pere Callahan he would make! The man is so talented and versatile an actor. Another great casting pick, Frank
