That's a great label! Lookit the birds! I love it. And their story! Yes, I'll be looking for this. If I can't find it, see what you can do. I've decided to start a wine journal. It seems like I'm in it for the long haul. Bird labels are my favorite, but I'll try just about any Chardonnay. I do like a good Sauvignon Blanc too. The story of those gold rush brothers!!! How cool. I just read an essay about a town founded on the short lived wealth of the Gold Rush. Those must have been fun times. Thanks for sharing! Memphis is mostly a beer town. Not much in the way of winerys - I do know of one, but I've never been. Also: I've never been so into wine as I have been this past year. The Ogre came home with Gardening and birds and wine seem to be my thing.

I like almost any white wine. I prefer them with a little tartness to them. Finally found a couple of reds that I can drink, but I want them chilled. This drives my wine snob friends crazy f010

I have some friends that I went out to dinner with once and they asked the waiter for ice for their red wine!!!! You like it how it you like it - I get it. Have you ever asked them to chill a bottle of red for you at the liquor store? Let's do that for fun next time. You should have seen the waiter when my friend asked for ice for their red wine. The idea of drinking alcohol warm is insane to them.

Good luck if you ever slip with a wine glass in your hand.

Good luck if you ever slip with a wine glass in your hand. Well, I'd never really drink anything in the shower. It would get all watered down and soapy. Probably wouldn't taste very good......

Woo hoo, it's Friday I do have a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream but I don't know if I'll open it - it tastes good so I like to put it in my decaf coffee.
Usually I just buy it at Christmas time
(Actually Andy bought it for me when he was out getting his Scotch)

Baileys is great, don't mix it with coffee I guess it would be good in a shooter - how do you drink it?

I used to love drinking Bailey's and coffee (instead of having dessert) at restaurants. Yummy on the rocks as well. Soooo good! Then I started having a reaction to the rye (?) whiskey that's in it (even before the lactose thing became a big problem). I saw an ad that they make an almond milk version now. May have to try that and just keep a benadryl on hand!

Found this on reddit...Cheers A Stephen King Drinking Game I love Stephen King, and have read his stuff over and over. I get why some criticize, but the fact is he has written some great works. There are, however, some tell-tale signs you are reading a King book. So curl up with any novel of his and grab a drink. Whenever you encounter any of these, have a Constant Reader sip, and just go with it. 1. Someone's face becomes an "O" of surprise/shock. 2. Someone throws back their head and laughs. 3. Someone opens their mouth to say something, then doesn't. 4. There is an audible click from someone's throat. 5. Turnpike. 6. Character A says something aloud accidentally/Character B asks for clarification/Character A says something like Nevermind. 7. A random reference to other authors/books. 8. A scene replicated later through the eyes of another charachter. Any other rules welcome. And Thankee Sai.

osnafrank We used to do shots that had Bailey's and butterscotch schnapps (I think). Can't remember what they were called or what else was in them. Not sure if that's because of the alcohol or old age!
Just remembered - they're called Bottom Bouncers!
