I always thought it was "A beginning, a muddle, and an end..."
...woman ...sometimes you just make my flamin' day....LMFAO... I'll resist the 'cluster ....things' jokes running through my mind right now...🤣

*bows*
"Always try to make at least one person smile each day." That's one of the axioms I live by, along with "Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind" and "Don't brush your teeth during a sneezing fit."
More wisdom from House Tanith will be dropping in the coming days, like nuts from a tree. Emphasis on "nuts".

1. Wild Monster Boar Man or Men.
2. Zombies, mixed genre sci-fi and horror (possibly traditional voodu involved)
3. Murderous, savage sirens/mermaids, gory horror story.
4. Disappearing writers, with an unknown monstrous culprit.
5. Vampires?
6. Witches?
7. An angel of death comes to collect a soul (or souls).
3rd person perspective.
Well, it looks like the scales weigh heaviest for item 2 of our theme list, and for 3rd person.
And we will have our writing order by Sunday August 21st.
Am I correct about all of that, Edinator?
Good morning from here everyone...coffee...still waking up.... Have a wonderful day, guys. 🙂

Okay, folks ...
So, this year there's going to be no people doing multiple chapters (I believe that last year people were doing a chapter and a prologue, if they got the luck of the draw). Seeing as we've SEVEN participants (which are myself, Dio, Wolf, Doc, Prufock, Tanith and Harbinger), I've decided to go with: A Prologue; Chapter 1; Chapter 2; Chapter 3; Chapter 4; Chapter 5; and an Epilogue.
The chapters are going to be a little longer this year as well. The main chapters (excluding the epilogue and prologue) shall be 950 - 1150 words. And the prologue and epilogue's are going to be 1200 - 1300 words. Of course, these numbers are flexible (this is a bit of fun, after all).
And as an editor, I would ask that, so that everyone's story ideas are taken into account, that we have the following elements: Zombies (of course, that's what we all decided the general theme was going to be), a writer (this is very broad), and some kind of occult goings on (again, very broad). I believe that these are specific to the point that they can give our story a structure, but so broad they they wont be overbearing.
Anyway, with that out of the way, here's the order (done at random):
Prologue (1200 - 1300 words): wolf Chapter 1 (950 - 1150 words): darkharbinger Chapter 2 (950 - 1150 words): prufrock21 Chapter 3 (950 - 1150 words): Tanith Chapter 4 (950 - 1150 words): myself Chapter 5 (950 - 1150 words): diobolic Epilogue (1200 - 1300): docpain2
The time frame will be a bit flexible with my stewardship (people write at different speeds), but obviously we'll want it done in a timely manner so that it can be released in the lead up to Halloween. You okay with that, Frank osnafrank or would you like it a bit earlier?
Many thanks, folks.

My aim is to have two chapters done week, but I understand that that is a bit ambitious. Regardless, the writing period starts, officially, tomorrow, but Wolf can begin now if she so wishes!
