A mixed genre story. So what is a "mixed genre" story, you may ask? Consider a classic example. The Movie "Alien." Sci-fi mixed with horror and a damn good looking Sigourney Weaver to boot.
(a mix of more modern Romero type zombie tales with the traditional voodu zombies in the mix,
without all the 'Walking Dead' stuff...I think that has been just done to death.)
What about Vampires?...witches? |

If I'm remembering my own schedule correctly ...  Then I believe that we've got this week to come up with an idea, and then at the start of next week I'll assign everyone with a (random) writing order (I found an app that does that) and then by the start of next week ... the fun begins!
Don't forget that SIGN-UP doesn't close til 8/14.
We MIGHT could pick up another writer,
so we might not want to get too far ahead.
And some people may want a choice as to whether or not they want to be 1st and/or last chapters. 🙂
I know that I prefer not to do either of those this year.
But I am happy to fill in if needed to. 🙂

I'm just hoping we get lucky and have at least one more author sign up.
Remember Kurben slid in at almost the last minute last year. 😊

Tanith may not be familiar with all the writer's order stuff,

The message board monster. A group of people come together to write a Halloween Story on a message board. But one of the writer's is not what they seem (the first writer). After subsequent writers submits their part, they are not heard from again... falling prey to something they wrote in their chapter. It is up to the last writer, who figures out what is going on, to either defeat the monster or succumb to it.

Today I done seen more action
in my kitchen cutlery drawer,
during a thunderstorm,
than I've seen in here. 🤨
Sigh...we've got a lot of big strong silent types in here, Tanith .😄
It usually takes about 3 kinds of hell,
and 3 days,
to get 3 words out of them.🙄🤨
(Com'mon!...you guys are SUPPOSED to be helping show
her a good time, and around the place....damnit.😒🤨
