"I'm O negative too! I give blood as often as I can because we're universal donors. I watched an Ancient Aliens episode once that says people with O negative blood are definitely part alien! Not that I believe any of that"
I'm O positive - what does that say about me?
Apparently people who are A positive, B positive and AB positive can receive my type of blood

for some reason I can't make a capital D - it works there but won't in @dio'Bolic Did it work then? Maybe I should call it and go on to bed.
Well - there it is working like a boss now. Le sigh
Edited - nope, not when I hit enter. That's just weird. Do you see the little symbols up above?
There is one in between the symbol for 'insert video' and the big C (capital letter C) - it looks like a faceless person wearing a blue shirt
click on that and start typing a username
diobolic e.g. I just started typing dio and it popped up

O is the universal donor, as you pointed out AB is the universal receiver

O is the universal donor, as you pointed out AB is the universal receiver I know what you're saying - I was trying to be funny (guess it did not work)
Holly said O negative types were descended from or part alien
- I don't really believe that what blood type you are says all that much about you.
I know someone wrote a book on the subject quite a few years back in the late 80s but it was basically balderdash
Apologies to Holly by the way - I know you and I are considered a bit "different" but I think that is part of your charm! You'd have to ask Andy about my charm - he would probably disagree!

Whatever joke you made flew over my head, I didn’t really read up on the previous messages so I wasn’t really aware of the full context. There’s an old tales from the crypt comic from the 50’s I read where somebody gets a blood transplant from a vampire and then becomes a vampire herself. “Blood Type V” it was called.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending a little time with my youngest niece today. Her name is Alivia Morgan. She is such a firecracker and says the funniest things (she informed me today that sometimes I scare her a little - Ha!). She's in third grade and loves to read. We usually go to B&N. Today she read two books to a couple of younger kids who were in the children's section. Such a sweetie!

eesyN Thanks for the hack - I didn't know. Interesting book idea. Like you, I don't buy into it. Same with horoscopes. One thing we all share - we are unique. Administrator

morgan - sounds like you had a great day with your niece - named after you - how sweet!
wayoftheredpanda - Correct - O is universal donor. Lifeblood calls me if I don't show up. It's an easy thing to give.
Egad y'all. I can't figure this out. I need to try early and on coffee, not late and on my wine.

Friday I received my $85 order of 5 different birdseed mixes and a bag of catfood from chewy.com. Box weighed 57 pounds and the wife was none too happy trying to get it into the house. Saturday I put out three varieties of birdseed. Then on Sunday morning I had a male and female bluebird show up, so I later set up the bluebird box (And no, I didn't need to wear a blindfold ). Bluebirds are a sure sign spring is on the way... Perhaps that stupid groundhog was correct with his prediction.

A trick, as long as your order is the min. for the free ship/ divided it to two orders. I can not longer lift that size box. Alternate- open box remove individual items- more trips from mailbox, but less wt to carry.
Re Spring coming, have you seen the latest weather storm path?
Thank you for feeding the critters. How goes the deer? and is the mailbox still standing??

Yap, spring is coming. Saw some flocks of cranes yesterday. It's always a good sign if they come back early

Thank you for feeding the critters. How goes the deer? and is the mailbox still standing?? Yup, the order was enough to get free shipping, but not enough to split it into two orders and get free shipping. The storm Wednesday will bring a wintry mess of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Projections are all over the map. This morning I had to deal with ice on the payments, driveways and cars. The mailbox still stands… fingers crossed. Not much of the deer corn has been eaten so far. I think I'll have to make another pile of corn down buy the woods in addition to under the apple tree.

You have inspired me to head outside (after putting on my knee high boots, as that is how much snow we have in our back yard) so that I can refill the bird feeder
Mostly we get the black capped chickadees up here

This time of the year at my birdfeeders I see mostly juncos, sparrows, mockingbirds, cardinals, grackles, bluejays, morning doves, crows, chickadees, nuthatches, wrens, red bellied woodpeckers, yellow bellied sapsuckers, flickers, downy woodpeckers, and hairy woodpeckers. Oh yeah, gray and red squirrels.

I didn't do much today, but I had an interesting day yesterday. I wasn't paying attention to my hands while I was explaining the finer points of sewing a straight line to my daughter, who has taken up quilting. To my delight. I should have been more careful. I hit the gas (stepped on the foot pedal) and stuck the sewing machine needle right through my finger.
Ow.
I missed the nail, missed the bone. There's barely even a mark. But it throbs, and I feel incredibly stupid. But the ladies in a quilting group I belong to online are very generous. 9/10ths of them commiserated with "Yup. Done that." The rest seemed horrified, but wished me a speedy recovery.

(Sending you some healing vibes - ouch!)
